Speak to us of carrying our past into our future…
Your wives are not your mothers and your husbands are not your fathers. When you have not completed the lessons from your past lives, they flow forward into your present lifetime. You are giving yourself the gift of repetition that you may heal a wound, create peace within a situation, or grow past limitations of belief. Your parents stand on a platform you have chosen them for, that you may be provided with the opportunity to grow through these limitations, beliefs, and lessons. It is a great and loving service that your parents do for you and it is a great and loving gift that you provide for them.
When you are not able to complete the lessons, heal the wounds or create the peace that you need, you will recreate the same scenarios with your spouses, friends and co-workers. Again, it is the gift you give yourself and the service you provide for others. Each relationship, each situation or incident is one in which all parties may grow. It is important to understand that all of the people have previously agreed to participate; exclusively because of the love each holds for the other.
When you have anger at a spouse, parent, friend, or co-worker, consider the love the other person must have had for you in spiritual form before taking on physical dimension in order to hold the lesson or provide this growth for you now. Although we know turning from anger to love may not be an automatic response, we suggest that you consider this as a future action or response to your situations of difficulty.
Remember that you are also providing the deep lessons of growth and enlightenment for all those you are in contact with. There is always a balance of experience within your life whether you are participating consciously to the experiences.
When you are able to visit your parents and not bring your old patterns home with you to your spouse, when you are able to return from work and not bring the experience home with you, when you are able to move from home into the work space, and visa versa, you will truly be on the road to enlightenment that you seek.
